Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
THE GOSPEL STORY
Jesus sent apostles, or "sent ones" to share freely the word of God. We count it a privilege to simply teach the Holy Bible. Gospel means good news, and that is what we feel we share, the good news of forgiveness, the good news of help from God to follow Jesus. The good news that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The good news that God does not want any of us to perish, but that all of us would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
